Stopping to Smell the Roses

After weeks of working 14 hour days, I took the last two days off to spend time with family and friends. My time was filled with a few celebrations (a friend’s upcoming wedding and my mother in law’s birthday), and a lovely homemade pasta dinner we shared with a neighbor. On this Labor Day, I did indeed take time off to smell the roses.
