Christmas Time
I haven’t been regular here for a few weeks. The reason is that I am ALL IN !!! I am IN wrapping, decorating, family time, and memory making mode and I am savoring that fact that everything about our normal weekly schedule is different. No dance classes or horse lessons. Homework is less and family time is more. I’ll be back. There is lots of exciting news and events to share in the very near future. But for now…I am here, with my family…celebrating the season.

The other evening I pulled out my watercolors and painted six portraits in 60 minutes. The goal was to be loose, to work fast, and to work on the art of painting a face. In my attempt to not be to “precious”, of the six I completed…she somehow is.

I haven’t been in this space for a couple of weeks. Crazy GOOD things are happening.
My head is EXPLODING with BIG IDEAS! It has been a while since I have allowed myself to DREAM THIS BIG. It is going to be a GREAT year…2012….I just know it. I am feeling all fluttery inside!

- My sweet, hardworking and passionate Irish Dancing daughter qualified for the World Championships in Belfast, IE last week…Woot, Woot!
- I was asked to talk about the upcoming launch of Pretty.Extraordinary.Girl. on ABC 2 News!
- Have wanted this BOOK a long time….it didn’t disappoint!
- Getting ready to launch a BIG photo collaboration project with this FRIEND and PHOTOGRAPHER.
- I continue to be GAGA over this site, photography, videos! Love the reminder to ” explore the joy of spending time with friends and family during the winter months”.
