How selfless our heros were…
and how desperate it felt to not know
The thousands of family members who had to learn the news…
and the 10 years of their lives that have followed
And PLEASE let us not forget how very connected Americans were in the days, weeks, and months that followed.
God Bless the families who lost a loved one on 9/11.

Stopping to Smell the Roses

After weeks of working 14 hour days, I took the last two days off to spend time with family and friends. My time was filled with a few celebrations (a friend’s upcoming wedding and my mother in law’s birthday), and a lovely homemade pasta dinner we shared with a neighbor. On this Labor Day, I did indeed take time off to smell the roses.
